MAINTENANCE Rear Gearcase Lubrication
Lubricant Change: The drain plug is located on the bottom right side of the rear gearcase
Rear Gearcase Specifications
Specified Lubricant: ATV Angle Drive Fluid (PN 2871653) Capacity: 18 oz(532 ml) Fill Plug Torque: 40-50 ftlbs(54-68 Nm) Drain Plug Torque: 30-45 inlbs(3-5 Nm)
Lubricant Level Check: The fill plug is located on the right side of the rear gearcaseMaintain the fluid level even with the bottom of the threads of the fill plug hole

Drain Plug Fill Plug 40-50 ftlbs(54-68 Nm) 12345Remove the fill plugPlace drain pan under the drain plugRemove the drain plug and allow the lubricant to drain completelyClean the drain plugReinstall the drain plug with new O-ring and torque to 30-45 inlbs(3-5 Nm)
