MAINTENANCE Engine Oil and Filter Service
Always change engine oil and filter at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance ChartAlways change the oil filter whenever changing the engine oilNOTE: The sealing surface on the drain plug should be clean and free of burrs, nicks or scratches89Reinstall drain plug and torque to 16 ftlbs(22 Nm)Remove both seats and rear service panel

Personal injury can occur when handling used oilHot oil can cause burns or skin damage
10Place shop towels beneath oil filterUsing Oil Filter Wrench (PV-43527) and 38" extension, turn the oil filter counter-clockwise to remove it
