MAINTENANCE 34Remove air filter assembly and remove the pre-filter sleeveInspect the main air filter element and replace if necessaryDo not clean the main filter, the filter should be replacedNOTE: If the filter has been soaked with fuel or oil it must be replaced5Wash pre-filter in warm soapy water and allow it to air dryNOTE: If unable to clean the pre-filter, replace itSeal Installation 123Clean the air box thoroughlyInstall new or clean pre-filter over the main air filter elementReinstall the filter into the air boxBe sure the filter fits tightly in the air box
