MAINTENANCE Throttle Pedal Inspection
If the throttle pedal has excessive play due to cable stretch or cable misadjustment, it will cause delay in throttle speedAlso, the throttle may not open fullyIf the throttle pedal has no play, the throttle may be hard to control, and the idle speed may be erratic3Squeeze the end of the rubber boot and slide it far enough to expose the end of the inline cable adjuster

Adjuster
Loosen the adjuster lock nutRotate the boot to turn the adjuster until 116" to 18" (1.5mm) of freeplay is achieved at the throttle pedal
