ELECTRICAL RPM Limit Modes
Engine RPM is limited when: Operator selects reverse gearThe maximum vehicle speed when reverse gear is selected is 7-9 MPH If the vehicle speed sensor malfunctions, the speedometer will limit engine RPM to approximately 3500 RPM when the transmission is in reverse If maximum engine RPM is reachedSPTM 300: 6850 100 SPTM 400 H.O 6900 (soft limit), 7050 (hard limit) The reverse engine RPM limit can be overridden when the operator presses and holds the speedoreverse override buttonThe speedometer also limits the maximum engine RPM in which the operator can engage the AWD systemThe speedometer will not allow the AWD to engage when the engine speed is at or above 3100 RPMNOTE: AWD will not engage in reverse unless the operator holds the speedoreverse override buttonSecondary Reading Primary Reading Remove Cap

Wire Description Primary Coil (BKWH to BK) Secondary Coil (BKWH to high tension lead without cap)
Resistance .21 Ohms 3.2 Ohms
