FINAL DRIVE 20Pull out on the drive shaft to center the joint in the housingSlide straight O-ring pick or small slotted screw driver between the large end of the boot and the joint housing and lift up to equalize the air pressure in the boot21Position the boot lip in its grooveInstall and secure the boot with the large clamp using the "earless" clamp pliers

12345Install new circlip on the end of the plunging joint and apply an anti-seize compound to the drive shaft splinesAlign drive shaft splines with front gearcase and install by lightly tapping on drive shaft with rubber faced hammerInstall drive shaft into the front bearing carrierInstall lower A-arm ball joint into the front bearing carrierInstall the ball joint pinch bolt into the bearing carrierTorque to 20 ftlbs(27 Nm) and install new cotter pin
