BODYSTEERINGSUSPENSION 2345Remove the lower fasteners (D) from the vertical front brushguard (E)Remove the vertical (E) and horizontal (F) brushguardsDisconnect the headlights and remove front bumper (B)Reverse the procedure to reinstall the front bumper6745Remove the battery from the front storage compartment (Sportsman 300 only)Route the battery cables through the front storage compartment (Sportsman 300 only)Remove the (4) front cab screwsRemove the plastic push rivets retaining the front cab to the footwellsRemove the instrument pod fasteners to loosen the pod and allow for front cab removalCarefully lift up and remove the front cab from the ATV
Front Cab Removal
12Remove the seat, side panel and tank cover (see previous removal procedures)Remove the plastic rivets and screws from the mud guards (below) and remove them from the front cab assemblyPush Rivets 89
Front Cab Installation
123Carefully install the front cab onto the frameRoute the battery cables into the front storage compartment (Sportsman 300 only)Install push rivets retaining the footwells to the front cabInstall the mud guards with the previously removed push rivets and screwsInstall the fuel tank cover, side panels and seatInstall the (4) front cab screwsInstall and tighten the instrument pod fastenersInstall the battery into the front storage compartment and connect the battery cablesBe sure to install the positive (+) cable first (Sportsman 300 only)
