ENGINE (300) Cam Chain Tensioner Removal
To position crankshaft at Top Dead Center (TDC) on compression stroke: 456Remove the valve coverRotate engine in normal direction and watch the intake valve open and begin to closeContinue to rotate engine slowly while watching camshaft sprocket marks and the mark in the timing inspection holeSingle TDC Mark Aligned TDC Mark 10Tap lightly on tensioner body with soft face hammer to loosen and remove tensioner if required
