Transmission Lubrication
NOTE: It is important to follow the transmission maintenance intervals described in the Periodic Maintenance ChartRegular fluid level inspections should be performed as wellTRANSMISSION SPECIFICATIONS Specified Lubricant: Polaris AGL Gearcase Lubricant: (PN 2873603) (Gallon) (PN 2873602) (12 oz Capacity: Even with fill plug or 20.3 oz(592 ml) Drain Plug and Fill Plug Torque: 15 ftlbs(20 Nm) The transmission lubricant level should be checked and changed in accordance with the maintenance schedule Be sure vehicle is positioned on level surface when checking or changing fluid Check vent hose to be sure it is routed properly and unobstructedTransmission Lubricant Level Check The fill plug is located on the left-hand side of the gearcase just below the left-hand drive shaft orificeMaintain the fluid level even with the bottom of the fill plug hole12Position vehicle on level surfaceRemove the fill plug6345Drain Plug
