CVT SYSTEM CVT System Drying
NOTE: If operating the ATV through water, be sure to check the CVT cover and other ATV components for water ingestionThe ATV should be checked immediatelyRefer to Owner's Manual for Safe Riding Tips1To drain any water that may be trapped inside the CVT area, remove the CVT drain plug and O-ring located on the bottom of the crankcase and let the water drain outThe CVT drain plug is shown at rightTo further expel water from the CVT area cover and to dry out the CVT system, shift the transmission to neutral and rev the engine slightly to expel the moistureThis will also air-dry the belt and clutches3Allow engine RPM to settle to idle speed, shift transmission to lowest available range and test for belt slippageRepeat as neededFRONT CVT Drain Plug
