Kick Start DisassemblyInspection CAUTION
The kick start spring is under tensionWear face protection during disassembly and assembly of the kick start mechanismNOTE: It is not necessary to remove the kick start lever or kick drive components to remove the engine coverReturn spring Bushing O-ring Washer Retaining ring
Disconnect hooked end of spring and set against stop at (B)Mark the shaft at the opening of the kick start pedal (C), or note position of kick start pedal before removing
