ENGINETRANSMISSION Cylinder Head Inspection
1Thoroughly clean cylinder head surface to remove all traces of gasket material and carbon
Cylinder Head Disassembly WARNING
Wear eye protection or face shield during cylinder head disassembly and reassemblyNOTE: Keep all parts in order with respect to their location in the cylinder head1Using valve spring compressor, compress the valve springs and remove the split keepersNOTE: To prevent loss of tension, do not compress the valve spring more than necessaryRemove spring retainer and spring
CAUTION
Use care not to damage sealing surfaceIf there is damage found on the cylinder head combustion chamber, it is recommended the component be replaced
