MAINTENANCE Pilot Air Screw Adjustment CAUTION
The pilot air screw is calibrated at the factory to meet EPACARB regulations for air quality standardsCleaning of the pilot circuit must be performed by certified repair shop to ensure air quality standards are not exceeded12Set idle speed to specificationAlways check throttle cable freeplay after adjusting idle speed and adjust if necessaryTo adjust the mixture screw setting, you will need to use the "D" shaped Carburetor Adjustment Screwdriver PA47361Slowly turn the mixture screw clockwise until engine idle RPM begins to decreaseStop turning at this point2
Vent Lines
1Check fuel tank, crankcase, carburetor, battery and transmission vent lines for signs of wear, deterioration, damage or leakageReplace every two yearsVerify vent lines are routed properly and secured with cable ties
Fuel Filter
