1Install new spring ring on drive shaftApply an anti-seize compound to splinesAlign splines of drive shaft with front gearcase and install by lightly tapping on drive shaft with rubber faced hammerInstall drive shaft in strutInstall lower ball joint, torque nut to specification and install new cotter pin
FRONT DRIVE SHAFT (CV) BOOT
Inspection
Check the front and rear driveshaft CV boots for any tears or leaking greaseIf the driveshaft boot loses all of the grease CV joint failure will occur
