The dual exhaust canisters on select Polaris 800 EFIs are silver ceramic coatedTo maintain beautiful finish and prevent corrosion, periodic maintenance is requiredDO NOT use caustic chemicals to clean, as they may damage the finish12Wash any accumulated mud or debris from the canisters with soft brush and soapy waterUse cleaner, such as HPC HiPerWash( to clean away any remaining grime, salts or oilsAMounting Hardware BClean Out Plug CExhaust SealClamp DDual Exhaust Pipe EExhaust Shields FGasket GExhaust Silencers HSilencer Grommets 3If the canisters are stained from oils or other fluids, use fine steel wool with HPC Liquid Buff( Cleaner and Polish to remove the stain4After removing the stains, polish using Liquid Buff( and soft cloth5Repeat this procedure as often as desired to maintain the canister's finishNOTE: Silencer removal requires replacement of the silencer grommets, item H, as they become damaged during removalH C
