ENGINE Cylinder Head Disassembly
1Carefully remove the cylinder componentsPlace the hydraulic lifters (C), pushrods (D), and rocker arms (E) in safe, clean area3Remove valve guide sealsIMPORTANT: It is recommended to replace seals whenever the cylinder head is disassembledHardened, cracked or worn valve seals will cause excessive oil consumption and carbon buildupD C

Mark the valves with white penRemove the valves from the cylinder headThis will ensure that the valves are properly placed during engine reassembly
