MAINTENANCE Transmission Lubrication
The (transmission) lubricant level should be checked and changed in accordance with the maintenance schedule Be sure vehicle is level and in Park before proceeding Check vent hose to be sure it is routed properly and unobstructed Follow instructions to checkchange transmission lubricant=TransmissionSpecified Lubricant: Polaris AGL Gearcase Lubricant (GallonPN 2873603) (12 oz- PN 2873602) SportsmanCapacity: 15 oz(450 ml) Sportsman X2Capacity: 32 oz(948 ml)

To Check the Fluid Level: 1Remove fill plug from the back of the transmission and visually inspect the oil levelLevel is correct when it reaches the bottom of the fill hole as shown at belowNOTE: The drain and fill plug use 516" hex for removal and installationTo Change Lubricant: 1234Oil Fill Plug 56Remove transmission drain plug to drain the oilDiscard used oil properlyClean and reinstall the drain plugTorque to specificationRemove fill plugAdd the correct amount of Polaris AGL Gearcase LubricantCheck for leaksInstall fill plugTorque to specificationTransmission
