Adjustments Drive Chain
MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Polaris ATV drive chains are equipped with o-ring-sealed, permanently greased pins and rollersHowever, the outer surfaces of the roller must be lubricated1Always inspect the drive chain prior to operating the vehicleCheck for damaged or missing o-rings or damaged rollers2Check for correct slack adjustment3Maintain the stone guard to rear sprocket clearance at 18 (.3 cm)4Regularly lubricate the drive chain with Polaris chain lube or SAE 80-90 lubeSee page 106 for the part numbers of Polaris products
