Adjustments Brakes
MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
The front and rear brakes are hydraulic disc brakes, activated by moving the single brake lever toward the handlebarThese brakes are self-adjustingThe following checks are recommended to keep the brake system in good operating conditionCheck more often if brakes are used heavily under normal operation, such as operation in hilly country or in muddy terrain1Always maintain brake fluid level as recommended (see page 35)2Check the brake system for fluid leaks3Check the brakes for excessive travel or spongy feel4Check the friction pads for wear, damage and looseness5Check the security and surface condition of the discNOTE: Install new brake pads when pads are worn to 364 (.1 cm)364 (.1 cm)
