Mounted on the cylinder, the engine temperature sensor measures coolant temperatureThe engine temperature sensor is Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) type sensor, as the temperature increases the resistance decreases
ENGINE TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT
1Disconnect sensor from engine harness2Using wrench, remove and replace the sensor, applying light coating of thread sealant to aid installation3Torque the sensor to 18.5 ftlbs(25 Nm)
