ENGINE HEAD REASSEMBLY
Before reassembly, clean the bolts and bolt holes with Primer (PN 2870585) to remove any debrisThis will ensure proper sealing when installing bolts1Install the head gasket (A) on the cylinder (B)
4Lubricate push rods (D) and install into lifters
5Lubricate rockers (E) with engine oilB E
2Install cylinder head on cylinder3Lubricate threads and top of washers underside of bolt head with engine oilInstall head bolts (C)5.5 Nm) in Torque to 35 ftlbs(47.5 sequence provided (Pg.3.11)Allow the gasket to set for minute at this torque, then turn bolts 90 (14 turn) in sequence Refer to Page 3.11 for tightening sequence6Verify pushrods are engaged in lifters7Install rockersBe sure that tab of fulcrum (F) is seated in head stand-offTorque bolts to 22 ftlbs(30 Nm)F
