MAINTENANCE To remove the ETC cover: 1Use medium flat blade screwdriver and insert blade into the pocket of the cover starting on the #1 position2Twist screwdriver slightly while lifting on the cover to release snap3Repeat procedure at the other five locations as shownNOTE: Do not attempt to remove cover until all latch points are released
PILOT SCREW
The pilot system supplies fuel during engine operation with the throttle valve closed or slightly openedThe fuelair mixture is metered by pilot screw and discharged into the main bore through the pilot outletCAUTION:
The pilot screw is calibrated at the factory to meet EPACARB regulations for air quality standards and is sealed with brass plug to prevent tamperingRemoval of the tamper proof plug is not permittedFor service purposes, cleaning of the pilot circuit can be done only by certified repair shop to ensure air quality standards are not exceeded
