BRAKES Inspection
1Inspect the springs and bushings on the parking brake lever assemblyBushings 2After to clicks the wheels should not rotate when turning by handAfter 10 full clicks of lever travel, the vehicle should not roll while parkedIf the vehicle moves, adjustment is necessaryAdjust the parking brake where the cable attaches to the lever assembly on the rear brake caliper
Adjustment Procedure 12Springs 3Place the vehicle in neutral on flat level surfaceCarefully lift the rear of the vehicle off the ground and stabilize on jack standsLocate the parking brake cable located under the front hood and under the dash on the driver sideParking Brake Switch
