12Drain and properly dispose of used oilRemove any metal particles from the drain plug magnetRemove bolts and output shaft cover6Remove the roll cage assembly, rollers, and H-springsCheck the gearcase coil resistanceThe resistance value should meet the specifications listed belowNOTE: To test the gearcase coils resistance, use the coil harnessThe gearcase coils should measure between 22.8 ohms and 25.2 ohms4Remove output shaft assemblyThoroughly clean all partsInspect the rollers (A) for nicks and scratchesThe rollers must slide up and down freely within the roller cage surfaces (B)Inspect the ring gear (C) for consistent wear patternsThe surfaces should be free of nicks and scratches
