1Install new spring ring on drive shaftApply an anti-seize compound to splinesAlign splines of drive shaft with front gearcase and install by lightly tapping on drive shaft with rubber faced hammer
FRONT PROPSHAFT REMOVAL
1Elevate front end and safely support machine under footrestframe area
CAUTION
Serious injury may result if machine tips or fallsBe sure machine is secure before beginning this service procedureWear eye protection when removing bearings and seals23Remove wheel nuts and wheelRemove cotter pin and nut from lower A-arm ball jointRemove lower A-arm from ball joint(See below)
