ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION DIAGNOSTICS USING BLINK CODES'
Blink CodesOperation
To enable the blink codes: 1Turn the ignition from 'OFF' to 'ON' times, leaving it 'ON' the 3rd time, within seconds2The blink codes appear when the Orange MIL light blinks in sequence: Count the number of times the Orange MIL light flashesThe blink codes are double digit numbersThe first digit of the double digit number will flash first, then pause and the second digit number will flashExample: For Code 42 The Orange MIL light will flash times, pause, then flash timesA code 61 will signal the end of the blink codesThe Orange MIL light will then remain lit when finished3When the diagnostic mode is complete, the Orange MIL light will remain illuminated until the key is switched offNOTE: To clear codes manually, disconnect the positive battery lead for 20 seconds
