MAINTENANCE Breather Filter Inspection
The engines are equipped with breather filterThe in-line filter is similar in appearance to fuel filter, and is visible on the left side (Location A)Follow right hand breather line out of the side of the airbox and locate filterBlow through gently in direction of arrow on filter to check for cloggingReplace as neededA Do not open the crankcase drain unless the engine has ingested waterSome engine oil will be lost if crankcase drain is openedTiming Plug

In-line breather filters should be installed with the arrow pointing toward the engine (away from the air box)NOTE: In-line breather filter service life is extended when the foam air box pre-filter is in place and maintained properlyNever operate the engine without the pre-filter
Engine Oil Level
The oil tank is located on the left side of the vehicleTo check the oil level: 12Set machine on level surfaceStart and run engine for 20-30 secondsThis will return oil to its true level in the oil tankAbout cup of oil will remain in the crankcaseStop engine, remove the bench seatThe oil tank is located on the driver sideRemove dipstick and wipe dry with clean cloth
