FUEL SYSTEMFUEL INJECTION Step 2
Establishing correct flow: Now that the zero offset voltage has been set, you can now set the throttle body to the correct air flow valueG With voltmeter still attached to tool PN 2201519, turn the air flow adjustment screw until the voltmeter reads .700 .01 voltsThe throttle body is now adjusted to the correct flow value
ENGINE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Mounted on the cylinder, the engine temperature sensor measures coolant temperature
Turn air flow screw in

Figure Tool PN 2201519 Red Probe Black Probe Black Pink Red .700 Vdc Should read .69 to .71

Coolant passes through the cylinder and by the sensor probe, creating resistance reading which is relayed to the ECUThis signal is processed by the ECU and compared to it's programming for determining the fuel and ignition requirements during operationThe ECU also uses this signal to determine when to activate the fan during operationIf for any reason the engine temperature sensor circuit is interrupted, the fan will default to 'ON'
