THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR INITIALIZATION
The correct position of the TPS is established and set at the factoryUse this procedure only if the TPS was repositioned, replaced or loosenedThis set procedure can be accomplished with the throttle body attached to the engineThis procedure is meant to allow the TPS flow and idle offset voltage to be correctly set without the use of flow benchNo steps can be eliminatedFigure Open and close throttle plate couple of times to ensure full throttle closingDo not snap closed, as this could cause unnecessary throttle plate to throttle body interference andor damageSet up the TPS voltage check tool PN 2201519 according to the instructionsVerify that the volt battery has minimum of voltsFigure 2Should read .528v .528 Vdc
