MAINTENANCE 3Inspect the filter for debrisBlow gently through the filter in the direction of the arrow to check for cloggingCheck the hoses for cracks, deterioration, abrasion, or leaksReplace as neededReplace if needed4Reinstall the filter and secure the clampsNOTE: In-line breather filter service life is extended when the foam air box pre-filter is in place and maintained properlyNever operate the engine without the pre-filterfor belt slippageOperate ATV in lowest available range for short period of time until PVT system is dry
ENGINE OIL LEVEL
The 700 engine is wetsump engine, meaning the oil is contained in the bottom of the crankcaseTo check the oil level:

BREATHER HOSE
1Be sure breather line is routed properly and secured in placeCAUTION: Make sure lines are not kinked or pinched
PVT DRYINGPVT DRAIN PLUG
NOTE: If operating the ATV in or through water, be sure to check the PVT cover and other components for water ingestionThe ATV should be checked immediately1To release any water that maybe trapped in the PVT cover, simply remove the PVT drain plug and Oring located on the bottom of the PVT cover and let the water drain outThe PVT drain plug is shown below
