MAINTENANCE
TRANSMISSION LUBRICATION
The transmission lubricant level should be checked and changed in accordance with the maintenance scheduleG Be sure the vehicle is level before proceedingG Check vent hose to be sure it is not kinked or obstructedG Follow instructions to checkchange transmission lubricantTo check the level: 1Remove fill plug from the back of the transmission and visually inspect the oil levelLevel is correct when it reaches the bottom of the fill hole as shown at belowTo change lubricant: 1Remove transmission drain plug to drain the oilCatch and discard used oil properly2Clean and reinstall the drain plugTorque to specification3Remove fill plug4Add 13.5 ozof Polaris AGL Gearcase Lubricant or fill to top of the fill plug hole threads5Check for leaks6Reinstall fill plug and torque to 14 ft.lbs(19.4 Nm)TRANSMISSION SPECIFICATIONS Specified Lubricant: Polaris AGL Gearcase Lubricant (PN 2873603) (gal (PN 2873602) (12oz Capacity: 13.5 oz(400 ml Drain PlugFill Plug Torque: 14 ftlbs(19.4 Nm)
