ENGINE HEAD REASSEMBLY CONTO 8Install breather reed (G) into rocker cover (H)Ughtly apply black RTV sealant to the outer edges of the breather reedThe reed has tab 11install thermostat (J) new O- ring, and thermostat housingTorque thermostat housing bolts to 84:to in.lbs(9 .5;1e .9 Nm)
and will assemble one way onlyTorque the
breather bolts to 20;t- inIbs(2.5:1; 0.55 Nm)
NOTE: When applying RTVdo not get any RTV inside the reed assembly9Place new seal (Il into the bottom of the cover
Be sure the seal is seated into the cover properly
