ENGINE OIL LEVEL
The 600700 engine is wet- sump engine, meaning
the oil is contained in the bottom of the crankcaseTo check the oil level:

crankcase, the oil level will read higher on the bottom side of the dipstickProper level indication is determined on the upper suriace of the dipstick as it is being removedregardless of the level marks being on top or on bottom (See the next illustration)

12Set machine on level surfaceStart and run engine for 20-30 secondsStop engine and unlock the lever lockUI2) Remove dipstick and ipe dry wrth clean clothLever Lock

NOTE: rising oil level between checks in cool weather driving can indicate contaminants such as gas or moisture collecting in the crankcaseIf the oil level is over the full mark, change the oil immediately
