LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The engine coolant level is controlled or maintained

COOLING SYSTEM HOSES
Inspect all hoses for cracks, deterioration, abrasion or leaksReplace if necessary
by the recovery system
The recovery system

components are the recovery bottle, radiator filler neck, radiator pressure cap and connecting hoseAs coolan operating temperature increases, the expanding(heated)excesscoolanlisforcedoutofthe rad iator past the pressure cap and in to the recovery bottleAs engine coolanttemperature decreases the contracting(cooled)coolanl isdrawnbackupfromthe tank past the pressure cap and into the radiator Some coolant level drop on new machines is normal as the system is purging itselfoftrappedairObserve coolant levels often during the break-in periodOverheating of engine cou ld occur if air is not fully purged from system
