MAINTENANCE Verify free play of 116316(1.64.76 mm) and smooth operation of choke cableIf smooth choke operation is not obtainable, inspect choke cable for kinks or sharp bends in routingIllustration of choke may vary with models4Set idle speed to 1100 RPMAlways check throttle cable freeplay after adjusting idle speed and adjust if necessary5Slowly turn mixture screw clockwise using the pilot screw wrench until engine begins to miss6Slowly turn mixture screw counterclockwise until idle speed increases to maximum RPMContinue turning counterclockwise until idle RPM begins to drop7Center the pilot screw between the points in Step and 68Re adjust idle speed to specification
