GENERAL INFORMATION
OIL PUMP TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
To verify oil delivery to engine, proceed as follows: Premix fuel in tank at 40:1 fueloil ratioWith the oil reservoir full and the pump bled, remove the oil delivery line from the intake manifoldTest the oil delivery check valve with low pressure pump and gaugeStart engine and lift oil pump lever to full open positionOil should pulse from the delivery line every few secondsIf it does not, suspect one of the following: AOil line plugged BOil line leaking or blocked CFaulty oil pump or drive mechanism DAir in oil Lines EInsufficientImproper oil in oil tank

If you spill gasoline on your skin or clothing, immediately wash it off with soap and water and change clothing
Never start the engine or let it run in an enclosed areaGasoline powered engine exhaust fumes are poisonous, causing loss of consciousness and death in short time
Never drain the float bowl when the engine is hotSevere burns may result
FUEL LINES
1Check fuel lines for signs of wear, deterioration, damage or leakageReplace if necessary2Be sure fuel lines are routed properly and secured with cable tiesCAUTION: Make sure lines are not kinked or pinched3Replace all fuel lines every two years
