GENERAL INFORMATION
CHOKE (ENRICHER) ADJUSTMENT
2003 Youth ATVs are fitted with new manual choke systemAdjust the choke tension by tightening the tensioner located under the rubber boot between the choke knob and nutFirmly grasp the rubber boot and tighten until the choke slides freely but stays out when pulled
3Start engine and set idle to specified RPMNOTE: Be sure the engine is at operating temperatureSee Idle Speed Adjustment4Loosen lock nut on in-line cable adjuster (Ill1)5Turn cable adjuster out until engine RPM begins to increase6Turn cable adjuster back in until throttle lever has 116 (.16 cm) of travel before engine RPM increases7Tighten lock nut securely and slide boot completely in place to ensure water-tight sealSwitch Plunger Must Be Held In By Cable Tension
