REAR BRAKE PAD REMOVAL
1Remove caliper mounting bolts and lift caliper off of disc
4Measure the thickness of the pad materialReplace pads if worn beyond the service limit
Support Caliper from Frame
Measure Thickness
Rear Brake Pad Thickness New .298 .005 (6.85 .127 mm Service Limit .150 (3.81 mm)
NOTE: When removing caliper, be careful not to damage brake lineSupport caliper so as not to kink or bend brake line2With pads installed, push the caliper pistons into their bores NOTE: Brake fluid will be forced through compensating port into master cylinder fluid reservoir when piston is pushed back into caliperRemove excess fluid from reservoir as required
