ENGINE 5Measure rotor tip clearance with feeler gauge
Rotor Tip Clearance: Std: .005 (.127 mm) Wear Limit: .008 (.2032 mm)
2Separate crankcase by tapping with soft faced hammer in reinforced areas3Watch the gap along the crankcase mating surface and separate the crankcase evenly4Remove the Mag (RH) crankcase from the PTO case
OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY
1Clean and dry all parts thoroughlyApply clean engine oil to all partsDo not use gasket sealer on the pump cover mating surfaces or clearances will be incorrect, and oil passages may become plugged2Install outer feed rotor and inner feed rotor drive pin3Install inner feed rotor and feed chamber cover with screw4Tighten screw securely5Install oil pump on crankcase and torque bolts to ftlbs(8 Nm)
