Inspect for Areas of Tooth Wear or Damage 2Remove release lever shaft and return spring (spacer)3Inspect shaft for wear or galling4Inspect lobe on end of release lever shaft for wear and replace if necessary
7Remove camshaft
Return spring (spacer)

1Slide spring onto shaft2Apply engine oil to release lever shaft

1Visually inspect each cam lobe for wear, chafing or damageDowel pin Release lever
