FRONT OUTPUT HOUSING (SNORKEL) INSTALLATION
9Install front output ring gear, washer, and retaining bolt with new lock plateHold shaft with strap wrench and tighten retaining boltClean threads of bolt and shaft with Loctite Primer NApply Loctite 242 or 243 (blue) to retaining bolt threadsTorque bolt to specification and bend lock plate against hexagonal portion of boltRing Gear Retaining Bolt 1720 ftlbs(24-27 Nm) Apply Loctite 242 or 243 (Blue)

10Install pinion gear assembly and retaining plateUse Loctite Primer on threads and housingApply Loctite 242 to bolts and torque to specification
