REAR DRIVE SHAFT SERVICE, CONT4Place new snap ring in the groove of the CV joint inner hub, with tabs facing the shaft as shown
Tabs face shaft
5Refit CV joint on interconnecting shaft by tapping with plastic hammer on the joint housingTake care not to damage threads on the outboard CV jointThe joint is fully assembled when the snap ring is located in the groove on the interconnecting shaft6Install and tighten large boot clamp with boot clamp pliers
