ELECTRICAL Ignition System Test Sequence Whenever troubleshooting an electrical problem you should first check all terminal connections to be sure they are clean and tightAlso be sure that colors match when wires are connectedUse the following pages as guide for troubleshootingThe resistance values are given on the specification pagesInstall new spark plug before troubleshooting systemCondition: No Spark Procedure Disconnect the black wire at the COl module to isolate the ignition from the kill systemDoes it have spark? Test the ignition switch emergency kill switch and reverse speed limiters for shorts to ground
+Disconnect the wire connector between the engine and COl moduleTest the stator coils with digital YOMCompare to values listed on the specifications on page 8.2Inspect connectors, wiring and grounds to the component in questionReplace the component if problem cannot be found
