ENGINESCARBURETION Fuel Pump The fuel pump is located under the headlight cover at the front of the machineTo test the fuel pump: 1Remove headlight cover2Turn fuel off3Disconnect impulse line from pump4Connect Mity-VacTM (PN 2870975) to the impulse line fitting on the pump5Apply inches of mercury vacuum to the pump fittingThe diaphragm should hold vacuum indefinitelyIf fuel is present in the impulse line or vacuum chamber of the pump, the diaphragm is ruptured and the pump must be replacedA
WARNING
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under certain conditions
Do not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in or near the area where refueling is performed or where gasoline is storedIf you should get gasoline in your eyes or if you should swallow gasoline, see your doctor immediatelyIf you should spill gasoline on your skin or clothing, immediately wash it off with soap and water and change clothing
