1Remove flywheel nut and washer2Install flywheel puller PN 2870159 and remove flywheelCAUTION: Do not thread the puller bolts into the flywheel more than 14" or stator coils may be damaged3Mark or note position of stator plate on crankcase4Remove bolts and carefully remove stator assembly, being careful not to damage crankshaft bushing or oil seal on stator plate5Remove oil passage O-Ring6Remove large sealing O-Ring from outer edge of stator plate
