ENGINES Magnum Engine DisassemblyInspection 13After cylinder head and oil passage are clean, apply Bond 1215 or equivalent sealer to the threads of the blind plug and install, torquing to ftIbs(1.1 kgm)CAUTION: Do not allow sealer to enter oil passage14Spray electrical contact cleaner into oil passage and dry using compressed air
Cylinder Head Assembly
CAUTION: Wear eye protection during assemblyNOTE: Assemble the valves one at time to maintain
proper order1Install new valve seals on valve guidesNOTE: The intake and exhaust valve seals are different, and must be installed on the proper guide
2Apply engine oil to valve guides and seats3Coat valve stem with molybdenum disulfide grease4Install valve carefully with rotating motion to avoid damaging valve seal
