PVT SYSTEM PVT Assembly 6Bend screw retainer tabs over screws7Torque inner cover bolts to 12 ftIbs(1.66 kgm)
8Install clutch offset spacers on transmission input shaft9Clean splines inside driven clutch and on the transmission input shaft10Apply light film of grease to the splines on the shaft11Install the driven clutch, aligning the boss spline on the input shaft12Install retaining bolt, washer, and lock washerTorque to 17 ftIbs(2.35 kgm)13Clean the end of the taper on the crankshaft and taper bore inside the drive clutch14Install the drive clutch and torque the retaining bolt to 40 ftIbs(5.5 kgm)15Reinstall drive belt noting direction of rotationIf new belt is installed, install so numbers can be easily read16Inspect PVT outer cover rubber gasket for cracks or damageReplace if necessaryWhen installing new gasket, position the ends at the top rear of the inner cover (highest point) and apply small amount of RTV silicone to the endsNOTE: The square side of the gasket faces the outer cover17Reinstall PVT outer cover and secure with screws and clips18Reinstall rear cab assembly and seat
