FINAL DRIVE SYSTEM SERVICE 1989 To PresentAll-wheel Drive Models Polaris ATV drive chains are equipped with O-ring sealed permanently greased pins and rollersCAUTION: Never wash the chain with high pressure washer or gasolineDamage to the O-rings will result, causing premature wear and drive chain failureAlways inspect the drive chain, checking for damaged or missing O-rings, rollers and correct slack adjustmentStone guard to rear sprocket clearance should be 18" {.3 cm}Regularly lubricate the drive chain with Polaris O-ring chain lube PN 2871079The center chain should be adjusted first since this adjustment affects the front chain slackAfter the recommended center chain adjustment is made, proceed to the front chainNOTE: This procedure should be performed while the vehicle is empty (Leno one sitting on the machine)
