BRAKE SERVICE Brake Bleeding Procedure Cont1989 to 1993 250 4x66x6 Models 6Remove the rear caliper mounting bolts (A) and loosen the support bracket retaining bolt (8)Tip the support bracket out of the way and remove the caliperRemove pin plate and screw from the back side of the caliper assemblyPosition and clamp vise grip C-clamp on the caliper assembly as shownRemove right front C-clamp vise gripProceed to step 7 1993 Sportsman
Remove right rear mud flap bolt from footrestRemove the rear-most middle chain guard bolt (A) and spacer (8)Loosen jam nut and remove adjuster bolt (F)Remove auxiliary brake arm (G)Remove disk cover bolt and disk cover (H)Remove lower caliper mount bolt (I) and caliper shield (J)Cut cable tie securing brake line to frameRotate brake caliper assembly from o'clock pOSition to 11 o'clock position and slide caliper upward to removeRotate moveable ramp lobe (E) to full unload positionMove stationary pad (X) until flush with moveable pad and install clamp vise grip on caliper assemblySee illustration 2, page 3.28Remove right front C-clamp vise gripProceed to step 7
