BODY, STEERING AND SUSPENSION Front Strut Weldment Replacement 1Remove lower strut attaching bolts2Remove upper pivot assembly and spring3Install new assembly4Adjust camber and torque retaining bolts to 50 ftIbs(6.9 kgm)5Check toe alignment
Front Strut Cartridge Replacement
1Remove upper strut pivot assembly2Remove coil spring and collapse strut cartridge3Remove two pinch bolts and tap upper and bottom pinch bolts with 38 -16 tap4Install large, thick flat washer as shown5Spread the strut casting just enough to allow the old cartridge to be removed and the new one to be installed6Torque pinch bolts to 15 ftIbs(2 kgm)7Reassemble spring and top pivot assemblyStrut Assembly 350400L 2x4
